In the 1950s, Venezuela was one of the five wealthiest countries on EARTH (richer than W Europe, Canada, and Japan) and for generations, they were the model of Latin America when it came to economic development and quality of life. ![]() Standard of living has improved in most parts of the world in recent decades, however one country has experienced a sharp decline in recent memory and that is Venezuela. ![]()
